Today marked the start of our preliminary examinations. I have a schedule at 8:45-9:45AM. I have another at 1:00-3:00PM. The first one went well, no problems or any hassles arose in between. More so, I'm confident that I passed the exam. It was easy. After the first exam, I went home to freshen myself up (the temperature's so high up in school), and eat lunch. At 12:30PM, I was on my way to AUL. I was almost late when I reached the gate of the University, so I hurried my pace so I'd be in the assigned examination room right on time.
But that did not happen...
What did?
You'll never imagine it!
I already noticed the way I walked was kind of a little weird after covering like 25meters from the gate of the school, but ignored it for my mind was fully-occupied of the exams. When I was more than halfway of the distance from the gate to the assigned room, it was then that I started to feel there's really something wrong.
My shoes (with 2.5 inches heel), or rather the pressure/weight I put on the shoe on my left leg, turned jelly. Feeling my stomach with butterflies already, I checked by looking down at it behind me.
Good lord, was I so aghast to find out the heel on my right pump had actually come loose! I was aware that, any more pressure put on it, the heel goes off. So, I did not anymore attempt of going further. Instead, turned left and quickly got my weak walk up the little ramp that goes up the ladies room to further examine the thing. I was fortunate enough that there was only a few people and I don't think they understood my predicament; HOWEVER, panic was already rising in me as I knew there's no way I could fix it, and sweat was starting to form on my face.
As soon as I got inside one of the cubicles in the comfort room, I tried to fix the pump's heel but it already gave in. The damn heel even went off completely after several tries of fixing! The temperature suddenly and ridiculously went impossibly high, although it wasn't as hot inside. I tried to remember what the girl did when she experienced the same thing on one of Mentos TV commercials, but my pump shoes are not the kind that you could take off the heels, and use them like they were flat shoes. No, it's simply impossible!
It was a good thing that Annie, a high school best friend, is a regular employee at the finance department of the University, and she rushed in to my aide after sending her a text message. She was always a dependable person in cases like this, but she was laughing hard at my predicament when she brought me a pair of slippers and got me a tri-wheel vehicle so I could go home and change.
As anticipated, I wasn't able to take my Chemistry examination because of that "little accident..."
When I got home, I changed my uniform into civilian clothes. Next, went to the mall to buy a new pair. I got myself a nice, little, black pumps; but, whew! The cost! I also went back to school to ask for a special examination. Thanks to my Chemistry instructor, she allowed me to take it at that very moment. It was really embarrassing; but, heck! I knew I'm not the only person to experience such, ayt?
But, of course, there are lessons.
Ladies, remember these two things:
First, always check your things before leaving.
Second, if you feel like there's something wrong or suspicious in any of your things, trust your instinct that there really is.
So, there! Today was just one of my unforgettable and embarrassing predicaments. I have many of them, mind you. lol!
How about you? Do you have any to tell?:-)

Is This Really A New Phase Of My Life?
1. Picked a new school shoes yesterday from a shoe store at The Pacific Mall;
2. Picked my school uniform-pants at Terry's Dress Shop yesterday;
3. Picked my school uniform-blouse just 30minutes ago from the same dress shop;
In short, I'm now ready to be the true AUL college studentagain... I mean, I've been attending classes almost a month now, but I don't wear school uniform (I was given exemption and a period of time to be in civilian clothes as consideration to my being a returnee). Last second semester, I was exempted since I was employed by a BPO company then. But now, since I'm no longer employed, school policy says that I've to wear the same get-up other students are wearing.
So, I'm back to my old school (University). More than five years ago, this is the picture of me: a school girl completely clad in black pants, white blouse, school ID, and black school shoes. Save from the blouse, which has an AUL patch now at the right collar, it's kind of a weird feeling that I'm gonna wear that same picture starting tomorrow.
All things happening with me lately were very far from few months ago. This is like an entirely new phase of my life; but in reality, it is just like a repeat of the past. And while I'm currently in this repeat chapter all because of my being irresponsible and careless in that past, I'm not ashamed because what matters now is how I've become stronger from that failure.
Some may be wondering what I am doing at my old school at this age, but I am proud to say that I am correcting the errors of that past now. And unlike before, I can say with conviction and certainty that my direction in life now has a new, more concrete, and clearer path.

I Am Giving It a Try and See How Much Will I Make From This Site
I've been a member of Payperpost, but it wasn't until a few days ago since I really gave the site a long look. My friends and co-bloggers have told me about how they earned from this site and how it brought their blogs in good standing in the blogosphere. I know it also helped them drive traffic to their blogs, so that's one hefty bonus too, as far as blog rankings are concerned. It's just unfortunate that because of some things that kept me occupied, I didn't realize these things too soon. You could say I am kinda left behind, right? But, hey! It's never too late for me, is it? In fact, here I am too, giving it a shot! Maybe, just like them, I’d get to see my paypal fund heaping up in no time at all Ü I'm crpssing my fingers!

About the money I am about to earn from the opportunities? Hmm… I am currently a full-time student enrolled in a University here in our place. You know how much expensive college education is. So, perhaps, much of what I am going to make from this site will go to my matriculation and tuition fees. I also have a son, who is in primary school, so he will also to take part in the expenses I am about to shell out via my Paypal fund courtesy of Payperpost earnings. The other part of the income? Well, if you know me, you’d guess what I am thinking about, eh? I am an ebay addict, and I love shopping clothes, shoes, and bags! So, need I say more?lol!

My Pants That Did Not Fit Me...
A few days ago, I saw this pair of pants I've been looking for weeks now - aqua-colored skinny pants - at ebay. The pants in the picture looked so gorgeous and I instantly fell in love with the cut and color. Of course, if you know me, you knew I won't let that thing slip off my hand now that I already found a skinny pants I loovveeed adding to my wardrobe. So, to cut the long story short, I won the auction and the item arrived just two days after my payment via Globe G-cash.
When the Air21 package arrived, I couldn't contain my excitement as I knew it would look as gorgeous as on the picture. As of that moment, I was already imagining what shoes/sandals, bags, and top to pair with the skinny pants. So, I took out the pants, then spread them out in front of my very eyes. Oh, sure! It looked really gorgeous - the cut, the color, the fashion, and the material! They were all great!
Except for one thing...

This pair looks frustratingly big to my size! Yes, you could just imagine how disappointed I am. At first, I was in denial. I went to the comfort room to try it on. But no, it was really big:(( So, end of story?
The pants went to Yonabelle.

Got a Summer Tote Bag From Ces! Thanks!:-)
My friend Ces, who is working in Dubai, and her fiance, Totie, a dear friend working in Qatar, were here a week ago. They were here for a vacation. But other than that, there was a far more significant purpose for the visit -- a purpose that could forever change their lives. But I'm mum about the whole thing until that purpose metamorphose into reality 7 months from now. I' m just a little afraid that the it will be preempted and got blown off even before it can happen. So, here, I am blogging not about that stuff about them, but the gift I got from Ces. Here it is:

When she handed this Forever 21 bag, I can't wait to open it. We were at Totie's house celebrating his dad's bday and the couple's arrival, so it's ok if I open it right at that moment. When i pulled out the thing from the bag, here's her "pasalubong" for me:
Weehhh!!! Bag! I love bags! Just as I love pretty and girly blouses, jeans, and shoes... This tote bag is perfect for summer! Thanks, Ces, for this present! This is perfect to carry my summer essentials to the beach. It is roomy enough to hold my sunblock lotions, swim suit, and lotsa lotsa more. It's a summer bag that will surely make it easier and handier for me to bring all my beach stuffs. And it's trendy and fashionable enough that I would sure carry it along on all my summer getaways ;)
And, Ces and Totie, let me say my best wishes! I can't stress enough how happy I am that two of my friends ended up together. As I frequently express myself to you, guys, I am one of the people that became the happiest because you are both happy with each other. Take care, guys! :-)
