things we regret

There are things we regret –
  • words we wish had gone unsaid;
  • starts that had bitter endings;
  • chances we threw away;
  • roads we should have never taken;
  • signs we did not see;
  • hearts we hurt needlessly;
  • and wounds we wish we could mend.
But life gets that much harder, the past can’t be rewritten but it can make you strong. Be thankful for every change life has thrown you, for every break in your heart, for every scar, some pages were turned, some bridges were burned…

Lessons For The Pencils...

Lessons For The Pencils...

A friend forwarded me this beautiful allegory thru text messaging, just wanna share this to everyone...

an inkdot in a blank white bond paper...

august 08, 2006, 11:30am

drop an ink in a blank bond paper and see how you react towards the sudden change...

it's very funny, isn't it? that, where earlier you could only see and appreciate the almost pristine whiteness of the paper.. then suddenly your whole outlook on that paper could easily and abruptly change once you put a drop of ink, even the tiniest of inkdrop, anywhere the four corners of that paper...

it's very funny that the inkdrop blocks out the purity of the paper... funnier still when what you are supposedly be seeing in the rectangular piece of paper is its whole whiteness but then your eyes are involuntarily drawn towards that mar of an inkdot...

**what happens to the immaculate whiteness of your outlook ? how on earth could a single mistake slowly eat away your own belief on things? how, in a vast blissfulness, could you let a small mar overpower bigger and lovelier things?...***
